The iPad 10.2 remains out of stock, but the new iPad 10th gen is now $50 off for another lowest-ever price. The iPad Air has been cheaper, but if you're looking to slip one into a Christmas stocking then a $50 reduction will make it a little cheaper. Both iPad Pro models are reduced, with both sizes receiving $70 off full price.

If you're looking for the best entry into the iPad lineup with the least cost outlay, then the iPad 10.2 2021 is the way to go. The screen is plenty big and bright enough for watching Netflix, and if you toss an Apple pencil into the deal then you've got an incredibly useful note-taking device. We called it 'Apple's most important iPad' in our iPad 2021 review - because it's the one that most people will buy.

iPad 10.2

If you're looking for something a little smaller and size-efficient, then the iPad Mini 6 is the iPad for you. It's a surprisingly small device that still manages to pack in a great deal of screen real estate, and a healthy amount of grunt behind its diminutive metal chassis.

If you're after something that sits pretty much perfectly in the middle of all the other iPad models, then the new iPad (2022) could be just what you're looking for. The screen has lost a lot of the bezel of the previous model, and the new colorful case is pretty stunning too.

Want something a bit bigger, and more powerful? The iPad Air 2022 will have you covered. There's a bigger 10.9-inch edge-to-edge display, along with the monster M1 chip under the hood.

If Power and massive screen size is your bag, then it's the iPad Pro. Available in 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes with all the power even modern laptops would gawp at, the iPad Pro is for the moving creative who doesn't have room in their bag for a MacBook - or who really likes touchscreens on which to conduct their mobile computing. Just pray you don't have to use it for too long - all that power comes at the cost of battery life, as we found out in our iPad Pro 2022 review.

How do I find iPad deals?

First off, where to look - Amazon. Generally, Amazon is going to have the best iPad sales. You may well find them at other retailers like B&H Photo, Best Buy, and Walmart, but they'll most likely not be better than the prices you'll find at Amazon.

Want the best prices? You might have to go for a different color. Often, Amazon will sell iPads of different colors at different prices - so the Lilac version may have a $20 discount, while the Starlight may still be full price. It's always worth looking at all the different colors to find the best iPad sales.

If you're not bothered as to whether it's the latest model or not, then have a shop around for yesterday's iPads! Sometimes, you'll find some killer deals on iPads that are still really solid devices, they just aren't current. Apple is usually pretty good with supporting their devices, so you shouldn't worry too much about a model that's a couple of months old.

What is an iPad smart connector?

The smart connector on an iPad lets you connect your tablet to a number of accessories, such as one of Apple's smart keyboard accessories or other docking kit. All current models have a Smart Connector on board, although accessory compatibility will be different amongst different models - always check to make sure the accessory you're buying is compatible with your iPad.
